AI Video Editing in United Kingdom
Blackbyrds Digital edits video for UK creators, podcasters, agencies, and marketing teams from Silang, Cavite in the Philippines. AI does the mechanical first pass and an editor finishes story, pacing, colour, sound, and captions. Our working day runs from the small hours of the UK night into your late morning, so the editing happens while you are offline. UK clients are billed in USD from the published price list, from $280 per video, by Wise or PayPal, and we sign a data processing agreement when the footage shows identifiable people.
Why here
Why this works for United Kingdom.
Philippine time is seven hours ahead of the UK in summer and eight in winter. A standard working day in Silang runs from about 02:00 to 11:00 in London during British Summer Time, and an hour earlier once the clocks go back. Footage shared at the end of your afternoon is waiting when the editor starts, the edit happens during your night, and the last stretch of our day overlaps your morning: enough to go through a review cut live, or to settle a question about the brief before it costs a day. The rhythm that falls out of it is one round of notes per UK working day, inside the turnaround each package lists.
The price list is in US dollars, and that is deliberate. Bespoke software work for UK companies is quoted in sterling because every project is scoped from scratch; editing runs from one published international list, so the price on the page is the price on the invoice. Invoices are in USD and paid by Wise or PayPal. Paying from a sterling account converts on your side, so the pound cost of a Vlog Edit at $420 or an Event & Corporate Recap at $550 moves a little with the exchange rate. The peso list on the service page is for businesses based in the Philippines and does not apply to UK clients.
Footage of people who can be identified, whether interviewees, staff, or the audience at a conference, is personal data under UK GDPR, and sending it to an editor makes us a processor acting on your instructions. We will sign a data processing agreement, alongside whichever transfer mechanism your counsel uses for a supplier outside the UK. In practice the footage is shared by link rather than uploaded to us, used only for your edit, kept out of model training in every AI tool that offers the setting, and deleted after a fixed window once the project closes. Whether you had a lawful basis to film it is a question for you as controller.
How the work runs.
A data processing agreement on request
For footage with identifiable people in it, we sign a DPA and act only on your instructions: shared by link, used for your edit and nothing else, deleted after a fixed window once the project closes.
Notes in your morning
The end of our day overlaps the start of yours. Timestamped notes left on a review cut during your morning are picked up in our next working day, within the published turnaround for your package or plan.
One price list, billed in dollars
A Vlog Edit is $420, a Shorts Pack of ten vertical clips is $490, and plans start at $849 / mo. 2 revision rounds per video (1 on the pilot) are included, and extras such as rush turnaround and thumbnails are priced on the service page.
Start with one edit
The Pilot Edit is one vlog or YouTube edit for $149, credited in full against your first month if you stay on a plan. UK agencies can take the same editing white-label, unbranded and reviewed through their own team.

How it works with a team in the Philippines.
Philippine time is seven hours ahead of BST and eight ahead of GMT. Our working day runs from about 02:00 to 11:00 in London in summer, so the edit happens overnight and the last hours overlap your morning.
Send a link
Share the footage from Google Drive, Dropbox, or Frame.io with a line on what the video is for. Nothing is uploaded to our site.
Fit and price first
We watch it and confirm in writing which package it fits, and the price, before you pay anything.
AI first pass, human edit
Transcripts, cleanup, camera switching, and reframing run first. An editor then does story, pacing, colour, sound, and captions.
Review, then clean files
Notes go on a watermarked, timestamped review cut. Clean exports in every ratio you need follow once the invoice is paid.

Editing FAQ
Common questions.
Is our footage personal data under UK GDPR?
If it shows or names people who can be identified, yes, and that covers faces, voices, and names in captions or lower thirds. You are the controller and we act as your processor. We sign a data processing agreement with the transfer mechanism your counsel specifies, use the footage only for your edit, and delete working files after a fixed window once the project closes.
Why are prices in US dollars rather than pounds?
Because editing runs from one published international price list rather than a quote per project. Invoices are in USD and paid by Wise or PayPal, and the dollar price does not change between the page and the invoice. If you pay from a sterling account, the conversion is handled by your bank or payment provider, so the sterling equivalent moves with the exchange rate.
When can we talk to the editor live?
In your morning. Our working day ends at about 11:00 London time during British Summer Time and about 10:00 in winter, so a short call or a live pass through a review cut fits before lunch. The rest happens in writing, on the review link. We have no UK office; the editor works from Silang, Cavite.
Can you add Welsh captions or dub into another language?
Not today. Translated captions and AI dubbing are offered in English and Tagalog only, the languages we can check in-house, and other languages, Welsh included, would be quoted only once a native reviewer is confirmed. Dubbing does not include lip-sync, and a voice is only dubbed with the speaker’s written consent.
