AI Video Editing in Australia
Blackbyrds Digital edits video for Australian creators, podcasters, agencies, and marketing teams from Silang, Cavite in the Philippines. An AI pass handles transcripts, cleanup, and reframing, and an editor does the story, pacing, colour, sound, and captions. Philippine time is two hours behind Sydney and Melbourne, three in daylight saving, and level with Perth, so the editor works inside your business day. Australian clients are billed in USD from the published price list, from $280 per video and plans from $849 / mo, by Wise or PayPal.
Why here
Why this works for Australia.
For a US or UK team, editing from the Philippines is an overnight arrangement: upload, sleep, and wake to a cut. Australia does not need it. A 9am to 6pm day in Manila is 11am to 8pm in Sydney and Melbourne on standard time, noon to 9pm in daylight saving, and the same hours in Perth. Footage shared in your morning is there when the editor sits down, and a question about the brief is answered in the same conversation rather than the next day. Review changes most: notes you leave on the first cut in the afternoon can be picked up while it is still the same working day in Manila. None of this shortens the published turnaround of 2 to 5 business days per video, or 24 to 72 hours on a plan. It means the back-and-forth inside that window happens in working hours on both sides.
Software projects for Australian companies are quoted in AUD because each one is scoped from scratch. Editing runs from one published international list in US dollars instead, so the price on the page is the price on the invoice. A Vlog Edit is $420, a Podcast Episode with three clips is $280, and the Growth plan at $1,590 / mo puts a dedicated editor on your channel. Invoices are in USD and paid by Wise or PayPal. Your bank or payment provider handles the conversion from Australian dollars, so the AUD cost moves with the exchange rate while the USD price stays put. The peso list on the service page applies only to businesses based in the Philippines.
Footage showing people who can be identified, such as interviewees, staff, or the crowd at an event, is personal information under the Australian Privacy Act. We act on your instructions with it and sign a data-handling agreement on request. Day to day, footage is shared by link rather than uploaded to us and used only for your edit. Dubbing and translated captions are English and Tagalog only, lip-synced dubbing is not offered as standard, and a voice is cloned or dubbed only with the speaker’s written consent.
How the work runs.
Review on the same afternoon
With five to six shared working hours, a cut posted around lunchtime in Sydney can be talked through before you leave the office, and the editor starts on the changes while you are still at your desk. Each round still runs inside the turnaround the package or plan lists.
Perth keeps our hours
Western Australia runs on UTC+8, the same clock as Manila, and neither side changes its clocks. A Perth team and the editor start and finish at the same time all year.
A dollar price for every package
Each package lists a USD price and a cap on raw footage, from $280 per video, and plans from $849 / mo are month to month once the first month is done. Review cuts are watermarked; clean exports are released once the invoice is paid.
A pilot before a plan
The Pilot Edit is one vlog or YouTube edit for $149, credited in full against your first month on a plan. Australian agencies can take the same editing white-label: unbranded, reviewed through their own team, and invoiced to the agency.

How it works with a team in the Philippines.
Philippine time is UTC+8: the same clock as Perth, two hours behind Sydney and Melbourne on AEST and three during daylight saving. The editing day overlaps a standard east-coast office day by five to six hours.
Send a link
Share the footage from Google Drive, Dropbox, or Frame.io with a line on what the video is for. Nothing is uploaded to our site.
Fit and price first
We watch it and confirm in writing which package it fits, and the price, before you pay anything.
AI first pass, human edit
Transcripts, cleanup, camera switching, and reframing run first. An editor then does story, pacing, colour, sound, and captions.
Review, then clean files
Notes go on a watermarked, timestamped review cut. Clean exports in every ratio you need follow once the invoice is paid.

Editing FAQ
Common questions.
How much of our working day overlaps with the editor’s?
Most of it. Manila is two hours behind Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Hobart on standard time and three when those states move to daylight saving, two behind Brisbane all year, and level with Perth. Against a nine-to-five day on the east coast that leaves five to six shared hours, enough for a live review and a same-day answer to a question about the brief.
Does the overlap make turnaround faster?
No, and we do not sell it that way. Per-video packages take 2 to 5 business days and plans run on a 24 to 72-hour turnaround, as published. The overlap changes the conversation inside that window: questions and notes are dealt with in working hours on both sides rather than waiting overnight. Rush turnaround is an add-on.
How do Australian clients pay?
In US dollars, from the published price list, by Wise or PayPal. Your bank or payment provider handles the conversion from Australian dollars. Review cuts are watermarked; clean exports are released once the invoice is paid.
Is footage of our staff or customers personal information?
If the people in it can be identified, yes, under the Australian Privacy Act. We handle the footage on your instructions, sign a data-handling agreement on request, and use it only for your edit.
