The challenge

Pet service businesses — grooming salons, veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, training centers, dog walkers — each operated their own manual booking processes: phone calls, WhatsApp messages, paper logbooks, and disconnected spreadsheets. There was no single platform purpose-built for the multi-service, multi-branch reality of modern pet care businesses. Owners had no visibility into bookings across service types, employees couldn't manage their schedules, and customers had no way to discover, compare, and book services in one place.

The solution

We designed and built Pawlly — a multi-tenant SaaS marketplace platform on Laravel 9 and Vue 3 — covering every layer of the pet services business. The booking engine handles six distinct service types (boarding, veterinary, grooming, walking, training, and daycare), each with their own specialized booking flows, slot verification, and data mapping. A full commission and earnings system tracks employee payouts, tips, and platform revenue automatically. A subscription module lets pet centers onboard under tiered SaaS plans with configurable feature limits. The product module adds optional e-commerce for pet supplies. And a real-time calendar powered by FullCalendar gives staff and managers a live view of every appointment, resource, and employee schedule.
