Why video earns its slot on a listing.
Four reasons that hold on any marketplace, and one thing we are not going to claim.
A photo cannot fill a video slot
PlacementMarketplace apps and their ad products both take video, and a still image cannot occupy a placement built to autoplay. If your listing has no video, that slot either sits empty or belongs to the seller beside you in the grid.
It answers what stalls the checkout
ObjectionHow big is it against a hand. What does the surface feel like. How does the lid open. Buyers either ask that in the Q&A tab or they close the tab, and expectations set by a photo alone come back later as returns and one-star reviews. Fifteen seconds of footage answers all of it before the question gets typed.
If your photos came from the supplier, so did theirs
DifferentiationResold and distributed products land on competing listings wearing the same images, because they came out of the same pack. A video is the one asset a competitor cannot copy from that folder, and the fastest way for a listing to stop looking interchangeable.
One production, three jobs
EconomicsThe same footage runs on the product page, in the feed, and as the paid ad. Producing once and mastering per placement is what makes video worth doing for a single SKU instead of only for a brand campaign.
What we will not tell you
Straight answerThat a video guarantees a ranking lift. Marketplaces do not publish how search and feed ranking work, so nobody outside the platform can honestly promise it. The four arguments above are about placements and buyer objections, which you can verify on your own listing today.
What you get
What you get.
Product demo cuts
The thing doing what it is for. Opening, pouring, folding, plugging in, worn, assembled. The shot list gets built from the questions your Q&A tab already receives and the specs buyers scroll down to find.
Unboxing and first look
What arrives, in what packaging, in what order. This is the cut that sets expectations before the parcel does, which is how a listing stops collecting "is this the real size" messages after delivery.
Lifestyle and in-use scenes
Your product in a Philippine kitchen, a condo bathroom, a sari-sari counter, the back of a tricycle. Settings a live shoot would need a location fee, a call sheet, and a weather forecast to reach.
Hook variants
Three openings on the same product, built to be tested rather than admired. Different first two seconds, same demo beat, same payoff, so the ad set finds out which one holds a scroll instead of guessing. The Campaign Film tier is the one built around this.
Live-selling cutaways
Short clips to roll during and between live sessions: the macro detail a phone camera cannot hold, the texture shot, the loop that plays while the host talks. Also the b-roll a host can cut away to when a run gets long.
Platform-native masters
Every cut delivered 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9, in 6, 15, and 30 second lengths, as MP4 with captions burned into the vertical versions. Nothing letterboxed, nothing cropped by the app at upload.
What lands in the folder
Ratios, lengths, and the specs nobody sends you.
One production, mastered for every placement it has to run in. You should not have to crop a 16:9 film into a vertical feed at 11pm before a campaign goes live.
- Ratios
- 9:16 (1080 × 1920) for vertical feed and story placements · 1:1 (1080 × 1080) for square feed slots · 16:9 (1920 × 1080) wherever a horizontal frame is wanted. All three mastered from one production.
- Lengths
- 6-second hook loop · 15-second · 30-second. A longer demo cut is scoped in the quote when the product needs one.
- Files
- MP4, H.264 video, AAC audio. Ready to upload, with no re-encode step on your side.
- Captions
- Burned into the vertical cuts. English, Tagalog, or Taglish.
- Voiceover
- English, Tagalog, or Taglish. A second language version of the same cut is scoped in the quote.
- Safe areas
- Product and on-screen text kept clear of the lower third and the right edge, where marketplace and social apps place their own buttons, price tags, and captions.
- Cover frame
- Chosen deliberately and delivered as a still, so the thumbnail on your listing is a decision rather than whatever frame the app happens to grab.
What it costs.
Public prices, then a fixed quote before work starts. The number moves with runtime, scene count, and finishing complexity, never with line items you find out about at handoff.

The video is one piece of the listing.
Most video shops hand you a file and wish you luck. We build the commerce systems underneath, so the asset arrives knowing where it has to work.
The storefront and the sync
BuildWe build direct-to-consumer storefronts and inventory sync across Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. When one studio ships the listing and the video, the cover frame, the gallery order, and the product copy get decided together instead of by three vendors in sequence.
The ad variants around it
TestCreative Production is the performance side: platform-native ad variants per sprint, UGC-style cuts, and monthly iteration against what the ad account actually did. The film on this page is the asset. That service is the testing programme built around it.
The rest of the video work
ParentBrand films, corporate AVPs, campaign systems, and the full package list live on the AI Video Production page, along with the licensing and rush add-ons that apply to everything here.
How we approach it
How we approach it.
Boards before pixels
One call to lock the product, the buyer, and the single thing the video has to land. We come back with a script and boards, illustrated first and then photoreal. You approve the look while changing it still costs nothing.
Generate against approved boards
Shots are produced in batches with your product references locked, so the packaging, color, and proportions hold from the first frame to the last. You see selects during the run rather than a reveal at the end.
Finish it by hand
Edit rhythm, color, sound, captions, and voiceover in English or Tagalog, applied by people. Raw generation never ships. This pass is what decides whether a buyer reads the result as a product video or as an AI clip.
Master per placement
Delivery in every ratio and length the placements want, with product and text kept out of the zones the apps cover with their own buttons and price tags. Masters, raw generations, and project files transfer to you.

How much does a product video cost for a Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop listing?
A single product starts with the Launch Film at ₱45,000 (~$720 USD): up to 30 seconds, delivered as 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 masters with 6, 15, and 30 second cuts. If you want several hooks to test against each other, the AI Campaign Film is ₱75,000 (~$1,200 USD). For a catalog that keeps moving, the Monthly Video Pack is ₱55,000 / mo (~$880 USD / mo) on a three-month minimum. Concept boards on their own are ₱20,000 (~$320 USD), and half of that is credited toward production if you go ahead. Every engagement is quoted at a fixed price before work starts.
What ratios and lengths do you deliver for marketplace listings and ads?
Every cut is mastered at 9:16 (1080 × 1920) for vertical feed and story placements, 1:1 (1080 × 1080) for square feed slots, and 16:9 (1920 × 1080) for anywhere a horizontal frame is wanted. Lengths run 6, 15, and 30 seconds from the same production, with a longer demo cut scoped in the quote if the product needs one. Files ship as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, captions burned into the vertical cuts. We keep the product and any on-screen text clear of the lower third and the right edge, because that is where marketplace and social apps put their own price tags, buttons, and captions.
Can you make the video from our existing product photos?
Yes, and that is usually where we start. Your real product photography becomes the reference set the shots are generated against, so the packaging, color, and proportions in the video match what arrives in the buyer's hands. If the product does something a photo cannot show, such as a hinge, a pour, or the way a fabric falls, a short phone clip from you is enough to work from. At the boards stage we tell you what we can hold exactly and what we cannot, before you commit.
Will adding a video make my listing rank higher?
We do not claim that, and we would be careful with anyone who does. Marketplaces do not publish how their search and feed ranking works, so nobody outside the platform can promise a lift from adding a video. What a video does do is fill placements a still photo cannot occupy, answer the size, texture, and how-it-works questions that stall a purchase, and give you one asset a competing seller cannot pull from the same supplier folder your photos came from.
Can the voiceover and captions be in Tagalog?
Yes. Voiceover and captions ship in English, Tagalog, or Taglish, and a second language version of the same cut is scoped in the quote. Scripts are written for the way the product is actually sold here rather than translated from an English original at the last step, which is usually the difference between a line that lands and a line that reads like a manual.
We sell a lot of SKUs. Can you do this at catalog scale?
Up to a point, and we would rather say so plainly than sell you a number we cannot hold. Video for every SKU in a large catalog is a volume problem, and the honest starting point is the products that carry the revenue. The Monthly Video Pack exists for this: a batch each month, aimed at whatever is being pushed that month, iterated on what the last batch did. Products that share a format, such as one line in six variants, batch well and cost less per finished cut.
Do you work on the listing and the ads too, or only the video?
Both, and that is the reason this page exists. We build e-commerce systems for Philippine sellers, including direct-to-consumer storefronts and inventory sync across Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, so the listing, the ads, and the video can be one conversation instead of three vendors in sequence. If what you need is a run of ad variants tested week over week rather than one finished film, that is our Creative Production service. If the storefront itself is the bottleneck, that is E-commerce Development.
