Impact

What changed.

01

100,000+ policies fully digitized

Every active policy is now searchable and accessible from any branch — eliminating the physical folder retrieval process that delayed every agent interaction.

02

Claims turnaround time cut in half

Structured digital submission, automated adjudicator routing, and a centralized review queue eliminated the inter-office mail delays that previously added days to every claim.

03

Renewal lapse rate reduced

Automated SMS and email reminders at 30 and 7 days before expiry brought renewal initiation rates up — recovering premium revenue that was previously lost to policy lapses.

The challenge

Before

A regional insurance provider was managing 100,000+ active policies in physical folders and a legacy system that couldn't be accessed remotely. Claims were submitted on paper forms, manually reviewed, and processed via inter-office mail between branches. Agents had no digital tools — they couldn't check policy status, process renewals, or submit claims without visiting a branch. Customers had no online access to their policies.

  • 100,000+ policies in physical folders and a legacy system with no remote access
  • Claims submitted on paper forms and processed via inter-office mail
  • Agents couldn't check policy status or process renewals without visiting a branch
  • No customer self-service portal — all inquiries via phone or in-person
  • Policy renewal reminders sent by post — high lapse rate on renewals
  • No digital audit trail for claims decisions
  • Branch staff manually reconciling premium collections daily

The solution

What we built

We built a digital insurance platform covering the full policy lifecycle — from issuance and endorsements through renewal and claims. Agents access all client policies remotely, process renewals, and submit claims through a web portal. Customers have a self-service portal for policy documents, claims status tracking, and premium payment. Automated renewal reminders are sent by SMS and email 30 and 7 days before expiry. The claims module includes a structured submission workflow, document upload, adjudicator assignment, and decision audit trail.
